GLUTE ACTIVATION- I’m taking a season off from lifting as heavy as I was during my competition. So I find using the bands @bretcontreras1 really help to activate my glutes so that I’m exhausting them with out loading so much weight on the bar. .
In fact the other day I filmed a new glute workout using all bands and was so sore the next few days I could barely sit!
So using bands can really help strengthen and shape your lower body without loading up your spine with heavier weights. Cause let’s face it as we get older this will be something a lot of us will need to watch.
As we age our glutes tend to get weaker and lazier so we need to pump them up and strengthen them even more! It keeps our knees strong and it’s part of our core muscles.
So if you want CHEEKY strong glutes… cause who wants flat glutes??that’s so nineteen eighties!
